Congratulations to Dr. Benett for receiving the South Jersey Magazine “Top Docs” award for Top Women’s Physician and Top Children’s Physician for 2015.

Jodi A. Benett, D.O. FACOOG, is a board-certified gynecologist who has been a clinician at the Advocare Center for Specialized Gynecology since October 2007.

Dr. Benett graduated Phi Beta Kappa, with honors, from Rutgers College in 1983. She is a prestigious Henry Rutgers Scholar. She attended medical school at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and graduated in 1987. She then completed a traditional rotating one-year internship, followed by residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology, from 1988-1992, at Kennedy Health System/University Medical System and Our Lady of Lourdes, the core teaching affiliates of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. (Rowan University-School of Osteopathic Medicine).

Dr. Benett is the current chair of the Government Affairs Committee, for the ACOOG (American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology), which gives her a seat on the ACOG (American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology) Government Relations Committee. She has participated with the ACOG Congressional Leadership Conferences, for the past several years, lobbying on Capitol Hill for Women’s Health Care. She has become a champion for women’s legislative issues. She is also part of ACOG District 3 council and has also lobbied in Harrisburg, PA, for the state in which she resides. Dr. Benett is a member of the ACOOG Physician Response Committee, rendering her opinion to current and important briefs.

Dr. Benett is a compassionate practitioner caring for women along the spectrum of a women’s life cycle, from adolescence to post menopause. Her concentrations include treatment and evaluation of Pap tests and Colposcopy, Menopause counseling and Hormonal treatment options (both traditional and bio-identical), Menstrual disorders and evaluation with endometrial biopsy as clinically indicated, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (diagnosis and treatments), and Preconception care. Contraceptive options include Long-Acting Contraceptive Options, (LARC), Sub dermal Implant Device and Intrauterine Devices. She is a member of North American Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, (NASPAG).

Rachael L. Fisher, DO, MPH, FACOG

OB/GYN

Rachael L. Fisher, DO, MPH, FACOG graduated cum laude from Muhlenberg College. She is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center and fellowship training in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She also holds a master’s degree in public health from the University of Louisville School of Public Health and Information Sciences. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG), a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and has been recognized by ABOG with a Focused Practice Designation in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.

Dr. Fisher served on the Adolescent Health Care Committee and the Ethics Committee for ACOG. She is on the Abstract Committee for the North American Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG). She has published articles on Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology topics in the Philadelphia Inquirer and Philly Voice. Dr. Fisher has been recognized by the Pennsylvania Medical Society as a Top Physician under 40 in 2018, a Main Line Today Health Care Hero in 2019, Philadelphia Business Journal Forty Under Forty in 2019, and Main Line Today Top Doctors in 2020.

Helen Gorlitsky, MD, FACOG

OB/GYN

Dr. Helen Gorlitsky attended Temple University School of Medicine, graduating in 1999. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2003 at Pennsylvania Hospital. Dr. Gorlitsky is board certified by ABOG, and has been practicing as an Ob Gyn in South Jersey since 2003.

Allyson Mitidieri-Washick, MS, RDN, LDN, CPT

OB/GYN

Allyson is a Registered Dietitian and has been practicing medical nutrition therapy and providing nutrition counseling since 2015. She graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with her B.S. in Nutrition and Dietetics in 2014, completed her dietetic internship with IUP in 2015, and graduated with a MS in Nutrition and Exercise Science from IUP in 2016.

Allyson’s focus areas have included sports nutrition at the youth and collegiate levels (IUP, Drexel University), medical nutrition therapy, women’s health (peri-menopause/menopause, RED-s, PCOS) weight management and wellness with both general population and pediatrics, as well as bariatrics and medical weight loss. Allyson is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and is involved in the Sports and Human Performance subgroup as well as the New Jersey Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is currently working towards her Board Certification as a Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD). She took a special interest in nutrition for women’s health and sports nutrition in particular due to her own life experiences in which nutrition played a key part in her overall health and success.

Allyson was a competitive swimmer for 14 years, competing at the junior national and division II NCAA championship levels. She still stays involved in the swimming world as a coach. In her free time, she enjoys training for and competing in local triathlon and running events and trying new recipes.

Dawn Truett, MSN, RN, WHNP-BC

Dawn is board certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation. She earned her undergraduate nursing degree from Drexel University, where she received the Drexel University Outstanding Achievement Award for Academics, Commitment to Nursing, & Clinical Excellence. She attended Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner.

Dawn has been awarded the following: March of Dimes, Nurse of the Year Award for Public Health Nursing, 2011 Drexel University Outstanding Achievement Award for Academics, Commitment to Nursing, & Clinical Excellence, 2005 Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing, 2005

Dawn enjoys caring for women of all ages and strive to provide women with the educational tools that that they need to live their best life. She is committed to providing a blend of evidenced-based and holistic treatment modalities designed to heal the whole person by addressing the full range of physical, mental, emotional and environmental influences that affect women’s health. Dawn enjoys reading, spending time outdoors hiking, and traveling.
